What does it cost supporting one person?

From psychosocial to medical and food support including all kind of other expenses (NFIs, case management, legal support ect), the cost in supporting 1 person goes around to 500 Euro per month. Supporting the unaccompanied minors is more expensive.

How many people flee across the Mediterranean?

The escape route across the Mediterranean is the deadliest in the world. According to the UNHCR, 78,435 people fled across the Mediterranean between January and 16 November 2020. 850 have officially drowned or have been declared missing - the number of unreported cases is probably much higher.
